Synch sets focus on Skåne

Synch takes another step in its expansion by employing Johan Ragnar who has been a lawyer in Skåne for many years. Johan has, in addition to his general competence in contract law and transactions, specific expertise in corporate governance, financial issues and compliance. In addition to the responsibility for the presence in Skåne, Johan will continue to develop Synch’s offer in banking and finance. The operations in Skåne will be an integrated part of Synch’s Nordic operations and all skills and resources in Stockholm and Copenhagen will be offered to our customers in Skåne. The objective is to strengthen Synch’s operations in general and in Skåne in particular through further recruitment of talented lawyers. Johan and our future colleagues in Skåne will work from a number of the tech hubs that are established in Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg.

“It is very exciting to establish Synch’s presence in Skåne and it is with great enthusiasm I look forward to making Synch a given supplier of innovative legal services with high quality here. The region offers an enormous potential for Synch to continue the fantastic journey started just over four years ago. Synch works closely with many of the Nordic region’s most prominent technology and development hubs, and we are pleased to be able to develop the entrepreneurship and digitalization, and to assist the technology and startup companies in Helsingborg, Lund and Malmö in the same way, “says Johan Ragnar.

“Since we started Synch in 2014, we have been interested in being active in the Skåne and the Öresund region. After Synch had the opportunity to open offices in Copenhagen in 2017, it felt even more important to increase the activity on the Swedish side of Öresund. However, it is not until now that we have had the opportunity to engage Johan Ragnar as we feel we can take this important step for Synch. Our ambition is to, together with our colleagues in Copenhagen, become a leading player for companies and investors in the tech and digital business across the strait of the Öresund region. We see a strong interest and great potential for expansion in the area and we will hire additional lawyers during the coming six months. Through our customer-oriented and integrated approach, we can offer the biggest team focused on tech and digital business in the Nordic region”, says Jim Runsten, CEO of Synch.
