Viveca Fallenius guest lecturer at Bond University, Sydney

Synch’s Viveca Fallenius is for the second time invited as a guest speaker in the course The Digital Lawyer at Bond university, Sydney, Australia.
Matthew Roach, previously legal counsel at Uber and a Stanford Law School alumni, is the course coordinator and lecturer. The course examines recent changes in the legal services industry and explores a range of ideas about how technology can be deployed in the legal practice. During the course, the students will develop a technology based prototype to address customers’ legal needs. The topic of Viveca’s lecture is “Doing law differently at Synch” and she will share with the law students how Synch has managed to be innovative and successful in the legal sector.
Viveca comments: “I’m really thrilled to be invited a second time as a guest speaker for Matthew’s course. To me, the combination of law, tech and innovation is really fascinating and the reason why I studied it at Stanford. We’re witnessing some cool developments in the sector and Synch is definitely standing out. I can’t wait to meet the next generation’s lawyers and share my views and experience with them and not the least, learn from them.”
The lecture will take place on Friday, September 28. You can find out more about the course here.
