THE GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION: A SEMINAR FOR LEGAL COUNSELS AND COMPLIANCE OFFICERS

The GDPR comes into force on 25 May 2018, introducing stronger rights for individuals and heavier obligations on both data controllers and data processors. Learn about the details of the regulation and discuss how to take a practical approach with your peers. We will focus on legal ground and privacy impact assessment.

Compliance with data protection law has become a top-priority– much due to the heavy administrative fines that is intended to secure compliance with the GDPR. But what does the GDPR entail, and what does this mean from a more practical perspective? In this seminar, Synch’s lawyers and security experts from Addlevel, will walk you through the requirements set forth in the GDPR and we will focus on the different legal grounds and how to conduct a privacy impact assessment. We will share our recommended approach for how to prepare your organization and use the GDPR as a competitive advantage. We look forward to ending the seminar with a discussion where we share expertise and insights on the topic.

This is an event in collaboration with Addlevel, experts within information security, www.addlevel.se
