HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE UPCOMING CHANGES WITHIN PRIVACY – WELCOME TO A BREAKFAST SEMINAR ON THE NEW GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION

For all companies with a digital aspect to its business, privacy is certainly an issue to prioritize going forward.

While as information and data of different forms are increasingly key assets for many companies, the new General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) is  – after many years of negotiation – agreed, introducing stronger rights for the individuals and stronger obligations for companies processing personal data.  Moreover, the sanctions for non-compliance under the GDPR will be heavy (up to 4% of global turnover), definitely providing new incentives for companies to make privacy a priority going forward. Although new burdens will be laid on the companies, there are also upsides of one single EU-law and one-stop-shop-mechanism for dealing with authorities. Synch invites you to a seminar where our lawyers guide you through the GDPR and how you can prepare for the changes to come. Please join us on March 16!

8.30 Breakfast is served
