Synch strengthens the team with three new lawyers
We’re happy to welcome Erica, Kim and Paulina to Synch. Our new team players will strengthen our resources within our fields of expertise and their attitude and skills will also contribute to our open working environment and our culture.
Erica Antonovic joined Synch on 1 of February 2017. Prior to joining Synch, Erica had the position as Corporate Counsel at RaySearch Laboratories AB (publ) and she has also been a Lawyer at Gärde Wesslau in Stockholm. Erica has a commercial and corporate focus and experience from M&A processes as well as disputes of various sorts. With her diverse experience from the role as a legal advisor, Erica will be joining the team working broadly across the firm’s business areas.
“When Synch turned up on the map of law firms in Sweden, I immediately felt it was a perfect fit. The way Synch goes about the legal business is what I believe is the future of the legal profession.”
Erica holds a Master in Commercial and Business Law from Linköping University and a LL.M. from Stockholm University. During her academic studies, Erica also spent a year at Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France.
Kim Bergman joined on 13 February 2017. Before joining Synch, Kim worked at American corporate law firm Skadden Arps in London and Hong Kong. At Skadden Arps, she worked broadly with corporate finance and capital markets transactions, private/public M&A, corporate governance and a number of commercial arbitration cases.
“I joined Synch because Synch is what I imagine a law firm founded in the 21st century would look like – combining excellent legal work with innovation and a friendly, positive culture.”
Prior to joining Skadden Arps, Kim graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in Law and proceeded to take the Legal Practice Course qualification in London. Kim is a UK qualified solicitor and a member of the Law Society of England & Wales. In 2012, Kim also worked at investment bank Greenhill & Co. in London as a Summer Analyst.
Paulina Rehbinder joined Synch on 6 Marcy 2017. Before joining Synch, Paulina worked at Lindahl in Stockholm, where her focus areas have been privacy law and financial regulation. Prior to joining Lindahl, Paulina founded her own law firm named it girl law, based in both Berlin and Stockholm, where she mainly worked with clients from creative industries.
“Synch dares to challenge the conventions of how to provide legal advice and shows how to manage a modern law firm, which is exactly the law firm I want to be part of.”
Paulina holds a Master in Law from Stockholm University and finished her academic studies with a semester in Berlin at Freie Universität Berlin in 2015, where she also interned at the law firm Lindenpartners.
