Synch in international publication concerning Swedish corporate governance

Synch’s corporate law expert Oskar Belani is featured in Citi Bank’s “News & Views” with an article concerning individual vote counts in Swedish listed companies.

Citibank’s News & Views publication is a well-renown professional newsletter disseminated globally to the investors and experts in the international financial world.

Oskar Belani’s article is a contribution to the recent discussions concerning individual vote counts, such as the position papers by Norges Bank Investment Management (link) and by the Swedish Corporate Governance Council (link). Oskar’s article discusses the background of the Swedish corporate governance model and, by assessing practical considerations, argues that the traditional model of the Swedish capitalist is contested in the context of today’s financial dynamics.
